Bell-krater lid

Terracotta-coloured ceramic clay. Lid of a red-figure krater with a conical handle. Painting with white slip additions. Decorated with figures seated around the circumference – a young man, two maenads, and a swan – and an ornamental foliage motifs. A typical example of the Apulian decorative style.
